DIY Altoids Tin Makeover

I love me some Altoids! Not only are the tasty and make breath freezing fresh, but they also come in handy dandy tin. This is how I makeover the tins and use them for storage.

I don't have a shed or a backyard that is safe to spray paint in, so what I do is go out on my balcony and spray the paint in a deep box. The excess stays in the box and can't go all over property I don't own. Ha!

There! Perfect for your small storage needs.

For example, you could use it for guitar picks, USB drives, rubber bands, paper clips, earrings, rings, hair pins, ear buds, or a million other small objects.

If you're going to pay for the packaging why not put it to good use? Go! Do! Make!
But do it with fresh breath.

Tomorrow's post: I'll show you how to make your own stencil and apply it to fabric.

  1. Love! It'd be fun to do a stencil on this, too, or attempt a little ombre action.
